My First Post

So far in my course i have developed my skills by using a program called final cut, in my last course i used a program called i movie, so far i prefer using final cut than i movie. My reasons are, that in final cut it is easier to move clips around and positioning them in between clip rather than having the difficulty of moving them round in i movie. Some of the editing skilled i have used so far have been very useful such as cropping parts of a clip so make the video clip looks more smooth while watching.

In my course i have also filmed a music video, so are i have imported them into final cut which was faster than importing into i movie. the music video i am filming has so far been a success and in two days around ready filming the whole video. the song we have chosen to do is a song by "The Doors" and is called "The Crystal Ship". we filmed in a small music rehearsal room, i believe this was a good place to start filming because it was small, but easy to work in. the song is only 2 min 33 sec, so compared to modern songs it a short, this provided us with more time to shoot and edit the video.
